Philadelphia police are investigating after a teenage boy was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in West Philadelphia.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon on the 800 block of North 41st Street, 6 ABC reports.
According to police, the victim, whose name and age were not released, sustained gunshots to the back and chest.
The teen was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and investigators continue to seek suspects.
