A teenager has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash with a stolen car that killed a pedestrian in Camden, New Jersey.
Authorities announced Saturday that a 16-year-old boy is facing charges of first-degree aggravated manslaughter, second-degree death by auto, second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, third-degree endangering an injured victim, third-degree causing death while driving unlicensed and third-degree receiving stolen property in the crash that caused the death of 53-year-old Tia Walker of Camden.
The incident occurred on April 25 around 9:50 a.m. near South 7th and Pine Streets.
The victim was struck by a 2001 silver Cadillac Deville, which was reported stolen earlier that day.
The driver stopped the car on a nearby median before fleeing the scene with another suspect in the vehicle.
