Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman in the Harrowgate neighborhood Monday.
A 51-year-old woman reported to authorities that a man approached her around 2:30 p.m. on the 110 block of E. Verango St. and began talking to her, explaining that he was looking for a girlfriend.
When the woman began walking away, the suspect punched her in the back of the head and brought her into a back alley.
He then demanded that she remove her clothes, and when she resisted, he physically assaulted her until she gave in.
The suspect then proceeded to sexually assault her, grabbing her clothes and fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30's with dark brown skin and a medium build, standing around 5'7." He was reportedly wearing a short sleeve shirt with red and white stripes, red sweatpants, and black, square-framed glasses.
