Authorities are trying to learn more about a Philadelphia mother whose body was found along the side of the road in central Pennsylvania.
State College Police said Saturday they have not received any new information on Corrine Pena, 35, of the Philadelphia area, whose remains were discovered off of Plainfield Road in Centre County.
There were no signs of traumatic injuries and an autopsy did not reveal on immediate cause of death for Pena, the mother of a child in elementary school.
On Thursday, officials released photos of Pena in an effort to get the public's help in learning more about Pena's whereabouts the days before she was found.
Police say it appears Pena was taken to the spot of discovery sometime during the early morning hours of Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.
Toxicology reports are pending and their results are expected to take several weeks.
Anyone with information on Pena is asked to call police at 800-479-0050.
