A person was hit and killed by a construction vehicle in Camden County Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.
Winslow Township police say the incident occurred at the Boccella Precast Concrete Plan located at 334 New Brooklyn Road.
When police arrived, they say the individual was found crushed underneath the forks of a forklift that was carrying a large load of concrete.
Authorities say it appeared as though the victim walked underneath the path of the forklift and the operator was unable to see him.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No criminal charges have been filed and police are still investigating.
