A Philadelphia police officer and three others were injured after a sedan crashed into the side of a police SUV early Thursday morning, officials told 6ABC.
The officer's SUV was traveling northbound on 58th Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday when his SUV cruiser was struck on the passenger's side by another car, authorities said. The crash occurred at 58th Street and Woodland Avenue, and the patrol car ended up on the sidewalk. A light pole and sign were also knocked down.
The officer and the people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. The officer had a hand injury and a possible concussion, according to 6ABC.
