Police are on the search for a man they say used two babies in car seats to steal $1,000 worth of sunglasses from a Bucks County store.
The suspect walked into Design for Vision in Newtown Township on Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. when he rested the two babies on the ground as he perused the store's selection for a half an hour, according to the Newtown Township Police Department.

A surveillance video shows the man taking the sunglasses and hiding them in his pockets and within the car seats. He then left the store without paying for any items while an employee tended to other customers. The employee noticed that several pairs of sunglasses were missing after he drove away.
Police are now calling on the public to help identify the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Newtown Township Police Department at 215-579-1000.
