Philadelphia police have a suspect in custody after a teenager and a female victim were stabbed Sunday afternoon at a home in West Philadelphia.
According to authorities, officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 1:30 p.m. at the residence on Fallon Street in the Mill Creek section of the city, NBC 10 reports.
At the scene, police found a 13-year-old boy suffering from three stab wounds to the arm and a 44-year-old woman with a stab wound to the thigh.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
The male suspect, whose identity was not released, was arrested at the scene along with a weapon believed to have been used in the stabbings. Police believe the suspect is the father and husband of the two victims, but investigators have yet to determine a motive in the stabbing.
