Authorities in Maple Shade are searching for suspects in the fatal shooting a 26-year-old man Wednesday morning behind the popular Iron Hill Brewery restaurant, prompting fears of a possible active shooter situation.
Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Maple Shade police chief Gary C. Gubbei said the incident occurred shortly before 8:25 a.m., when police received a report of an active shooter outside of a commercial property in the 100 block of East King's Highway.

Responding officers found the victim, identified as Willingboro resident Devon Young, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a loading dock area behind the restaurant.
Officials said it appears Young was the intended target in the shooting and that it was not an "active shooter" situation.
A witness at the scene told NJ.com the victim was an employee of Albo Appliance, located in the East King's Highway complex. Others described hearing as many as 15 shots fired and said it was possible more than one person was involved in the shooting.
Iron Hill Brewery released a statement Wednesday afternoon saying none of its employees or customers were involved in the shooting. The restaurant was on track to reopen for dinner Wednesday night.
"Iron Hill is supporting local law enforcement in their ongoing investigation," the statement continued.
