Wildwood Police looking for woman who allegedly stabbed relative

Suspect wanted for assault, endangering the welfare of a child

Police are looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed a relative in Wildwood Friday. 

According to the City of Wildwood Police Department, 24-year-old Christina Vazquez has been identified as a suspect in the stabbing of an unidentified 26-year-old Hispanic male, who is a related to Vasquez. 

Police responded to the incident that occurred on the 100 block of East Youngs Avenue. The victim had suffered a single puncture wound to his back and was taken to the Atlantic City Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries. 

A weapon recovered at the scene as well as other evidence led police to peg Vasquez as a suspect. 

She is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and endangering the welfare of a child.
