Philadelphia police are investigating after a woman's decomposed body was discovered Thursday afternoon at a home in the Overbrook section of the city.
According to authorities, the body was found inside a house at 53rd and Jefferson streets, NBC 10 reports.
Investigators continued to search the scene at around 5:45 p.m., but it was not immediately clear how the woman died or how long her body had been left at the home.
