Police have arrested a man after a Facebook video showed him punching a woman in the face and knocking her unconscious.
Atlantic City Police announced Monday that Iben Hunter was in custody after a reporter made them aware of the video.
The incident occurred Saturday in Brown's Park located at Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Boulevard and Baltic avenues.
In the video of the attack, Hunter can be seen speaking to the seated women, then winding up and hitting her (video via the Press of Atlantic City):
After being struck, the 44-year-old victim was taken into intensive care and was listed in critical condition.
She did eventually regain consciousness but was unable to speak to police.
Police issued a warrant and arrested Hunter around 9 a.m. Monday. He has been charged with aggravated assault.
