Pop singer Pink (also known as Doylestown native Alecia Moore) said she is raising her two children in an environment promoting gender neutrality.
“We are a very label-less household,” Pink told The People, speaking of her two kids, 6-year-old Willow and 11-month-old Jameson.

“Last week Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like, ‘Great, can you teach me how to make African food?’”
Pink also noted a gender-neutral bathroom she spotted in a kindergarten, saying, “I thought that was awesome. I love that kids are having this conversation.”
This isn’t the first time Pink has promoted gender fluidity and androgyny. In an emotional speech directed toward Willow at this year’s Video Music Awards, when the singer accepted a Video Vanguard Award, Pink described her response after Willow declared herself "ugly" and looking “like a boy with long hair.”
“I went home and I made a PowerPoint presentation for her,” Pink said at the VMAs. “And in that presentation were androgynous rock stars and artists that live their truth, and are probably made fun of every day of their life, and carry on, and wave their flag, and inspire the rest of us.”
Pink's latest music video, "Beautiful Trauma," plays on similar themes. Channing Tatum co-stars opposite Pink, each depicting classic 1950s gender stereotypes in which neither of them seem quite comfortable. See the full video below.
