Philadelphia International Airport was reporting delays Tuesday due to weather.
The airport reported departure delays averaging an hour as well as arrival delays of about 15 minutes.
Travelers are encouraged to contact their airlines for their flight status.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Philadelphia region which could impact the region into Wednesday morning, as heavy rain could cause localized flooding and at times hazardous conditions for drivers.
The weather service reported at least one foot of water on Route 73 where it meets the Atlantic City Expressway in Atlantic County. More than three inches of rain had fallen by late morning in Upper Deerfield Township, Cumberland County.
Drivers are reminded not to drive through areas where water covers the roadway.

Wednesday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. North wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
