Get ready for days full of parks and playgrounds – it's going to be a beautiful week in Philadelphia, according to forecasters.
The region was teased early last week with spring-like temperatures that didn't stick after some serious rain made its way through Philadelphia on Thursday cooling things down a bit.

Saturday's high flirted right around 60 degrees and while temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 39 degrees at night, Sunday will begin a week-long warmup with a high of 67 degrees that should dip only slightly to 49.
Come Monday, it might be time to break out the grill. The National Weather Service for Philadelphia and Mt. Holly predicts that Monday will be sunny and the high will reach 78 degrees though it may get windy with gusts reaching 20 miles per hour.
Leave those windows open at night, though. Monday's low will be a cool 56 degrees with winds dying down making way for a pleasant and mostly sunny Tuesday where the temperatures are expected to climb all the way up to 81 degrees.
The mercury is expected to drop to 57 degrees at night.
Tuesday will be the first 80-degree day for Philly since October, according to AccuWeather, which could challenge a record high of 84 degrees set in 1887.
AccuWeather reported that warmth from the midsection of the United States will surge across the Midwest, eventually making its way to the Northeast bringing in those summer-like temperatures.
"While it will feel like June, the Midwest and Northeast will not have to deal with a surge of high humidity," wrote AccuWeather senior meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski. "That will make it more comfortable for those who want to partake in outdoor spring activities, especially with prolonged stretches of dry weather to accompany the warmth."
The NWS says the nice weather will stay throughout the week. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high of 73 degrees, while Thursday will also be mostly sunny with a high of 68 degrees.
A slight chance of showers are expected Thursday night and may carry into the Friday morning commute. Friday's high is expected to reach 65 degrees.
