Back for the second year, Philly Wine Week 2016 will run from Sunday, April 3 through Sunday, April 10. Celebrate all things wine during the week-long festival with tastings, happy hours, bar crawls, trivia contests and appearances by winemakers.
This year's event was organized through monthly meetings by the festival's new Executive Board of Directors, who are all from Philly wine bars and restaurants.

The first event will be Opening Corks, a party for guests to enjoy food and wine pairings from local spots.
“Drinking wine is meant to be fun, a casual and thought-provoking experience, not strictly reserved for special occasions,” Kate Moroney Miller, a co-founder of Philly Wine Week, shared in a press release.
Start looking forward to eight days of wining in April, with more information on Philly Wine Week to come.
