To celebrate Philly's ever-growing vegan community, The Humane League and V Marks the Shop are throwing a party. Philly Vegan Homecoming is for anyone 13-and-older who supports the vegan lifestyle.
The party will take place Sept. 9 at Friends Center on Cherry Street. Tickets are $25 per person, with 50 percent of all ticket proceeds going to The Humane League.
At this homecoming party, there will be plenty of vegan foods donated from local and national vegan businesses. Mompops, Batter & Crumbs Bakery, I Heart Keenwah, MooShoes and Miyoko’s Kitchen are only a few of the businesses providing treats.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up and dance the night away -- there might even be a dance competition.
