A California Raisin lamp.

You want random stuff? For almost nothing? There's a place for you to find it in Philadelphia, even if you don't yet know what you're looking to score.

The Facebook group "Internet Yardsale Philadelphia" is a wonderful virtual sales floor where you buy a crate of vinyl for $5, size 10 vintage boots for $100, a marble top table for $75, and your very own Canadian money for $8.

Folks, you'll never believe it.

Here are the ground rules for the closed group, which anyone can join:

POST YOUR ITEMS FOR SALE OR TO GIVE AWAY. Include where it can be picked up, item details and photos if possible.

Please keep posts on topic. Only items for sale/for free. DO NOT POST THE FOLLOWING: services, businesses, animals or crafts.

Message your buyer/seller directly once interest is expressed. Be sure to check your other messages box on facebook. Please be respectful of group members in both your comments on IYP and the private messages.

ONCE YOUR ITEM SELLS: please delete your post so that people's new posts stay at the top.

It's also full of unexpected surprises, such as a $36,000 diamond enagement ring from a difficult love not meant to be.

What about a pair of "authentic Bush-era Punk Rock Crusties" for only $750? Those are primed for a comeback.

Got something sitting around you no longer want? Name your price and never underetimate your neighbor's goofy fascinations.

Looking for something? Use the search bar at the top of the group to look through what's available before posting up a "wanted" listing. Users are asked to keep ISO/wanted posts to a minimum.
