Philadelphia Councilman and renowned real estate developer Allan Domb will be at Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m. to talk about the ins and outs of real estate development and the ways City Hall is working to better the lives of citizens and small businesses. Local residents and business owners are invited to attend this free event.

Allan Domb, who has lived in Philadelphia for almost 40 years, was once ranked as the top residential real estate broker in the United States for nearly 20 consecutive years. Once referred to as the “Philly Condo King,” Domb has served twice as the president of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors, advocating for the rights of private property owners and working with City Hall to bring new residents and businesses to the city. He has developed numerous properties in Center City, such as the Parc Rittenhouse, The Barclay and The Warwick.

In 2015, Domb was elected as an at-large member to Philadelphia City Council. Since then, he has worked to lower the poverty rate, promote job growth, collect delinquent property taxes, increase high school graduation rates and create mentoring opportunities for children through partnerships with universities.
