Putting the finishing touches on tater tots from Tot Chef 2014.
Last year's Tot Chef Competition was so successful that North Bowl is bringing it back again. The tater tot cooking showdown will be held upstairs at North Bowl on Sunday, September 13.
Professional and amateur chefs will step up to the frier for a chance to win cash prizes, a spot on the North Bowl menu and bragging rights. (Think you've got what it takes? Email media@northbowlphilly.com) A panel of judges will decide the winner.
For those who just want to try out the delicious tots, entry is free. There will be drink specials and music to round out the atmosphere. If you've been to North Bowl, the bowling alley-slash-bar in Northern Liberties, then hopefully you know how great their tater tots are already. Last year's Tot Chef included s'mores tots, above, so you're bound to see some adventurous recipes this year, too.
