Philly Beer Week's 'Epic Swan Boat Showdown', was held June 9 at the Penn's Landing Marina near Spruce Street Harbor Park. Each brewery dispatched a two-person team to decorate and race their swans while being judged in categories of style, speed and control. Participants were also handed a full pint of ginger beer that was required to remain full throughout the race, or that team would be disqualified. The three competing breweries were: Manayunk Brewing Company, Victory Brewing Company and Wyndrdge Farm.
