Philadelphia artist Jessica Libor is throwing a free exhibit-party on Aug. 24 at WeWork Northern Liberties. A collection titled "Paper Dolls," created through collage and watercolor, will be on display.
"In whatever medium I choose for an artwork, I try to convey the visual intensity and emotional high of an experience of beauty," Libor states on her website.
The women in "Paper Dolls" are surrounded by patterns and rich colors.
While browsing through the exhibit, there will be light refreshments and live music by Seth Aaron and Christine Irizarry.
Libor received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2014 and has had her work showcased in a variety of exhibitions, including Pop Party at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the 2016 Philadelphia Flower Show.
