Phillies left fielder Ben Revere had a much better day in the outfield than right fielder Grady Sizemore, even though the Phillies fell to the Mets, 2-0, at Citi Field on Monday.
First, Sizemore had a beer poured on him by an unruly Mets fan seated behind the right field wall at Citi Field in the fourth inning. Then, in the bottom of the sixth, he was tracking what looked like a routine fly ball by Michael Cuddyer until one of two things happened.

Either Sizemore was blinded by the sun, which is more likely, or he feared another beer being tossed in his general direction.
Cuddyer wound up on third after the play, which was ruled a triple, but Aaron Harang was able to get out of the jam and keep the score at 1-0 Mets.
One inning earlier, however, Revere did pretty much the opposite of Sizemore, turning what would have been an extra base hit by Curtis Granderson into just another out.
Revere had a chance to help out on the offensive end when he came up to the plate in the top of the seventh with two outs and runners on the corners, but he was called out looking. He may have been hitless on the day, but at least Revere can point to the diving grab as a contribution in the loss, unlike Sizemore, who also went 0-for-4.
