Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh underwent "arthroscopic debridement surgery" in his left knee Thursday and will be out 3-4 weeks, the club announced.
He's expected to be ready for Opening Day.
The Phillies' full statement posted through their social media channels:
Phillies OF Brandon Marsh underwent successful left knee arthroscopic debridement surgery with Dr. Steven Cohen in Philadelphia this morning. It is anticipated that he will return to playing at 3 to 4 weeks and be ready to play by opening day.

Marsh slashed .277/.372/.458 in his first full season with the Phillies last year and gave them an athletic glove in the outfield for a club that was, and still is, short on those.
He'll be back, and the Phillies will need him to take up a spot in the everyday lineup, but not having him through the spring now more than likely creates a greater opening for Johan Rojas to stay up in the majors and make the Opening Day roster.
The truck left Philly for Clearwater on Thursday. Pitchers and catchers report on Tuesday. And Opening Day at home against the Braves on March 28 against the Braves will be here before you know it.
