The Philadelphia Union are looking for an ink master.
The team said Monday it is looking to hire its very first "Chief Tattoo Officer." The position, which could be served by a shop or singular artist, will serve as the "go-to place" for Union players, coaches, staff and even fans looking for new body art.
“Our hiring process begins immediately; we are looking for a partner with a wide variety of talents and skills, and someone who can offer a broad range including American traditional, as well as Japanese, realism, new school and more," Doug Vosik, vice president of marketing, said in a press release.
The new hire is aimed to appeal to players and staff coming from "geographies outside Philadelphia" who want to get tatted up but don't know any local artists.
The Union are the first professional sports team to create such a position, according to CSNPhilly.
Interested applicants should send a resume, portfolio and link to previous work to tattoos@philadelphiaunion.com.
