Annual Tri-State Labor Day Parade returns for its 34th year

Parade culminates in Penn’s Landing with family-friendly festivities

The Annual Tri-State Labor Day Parade, hosted by the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO, returns on Monday, September 6 for its 34th year. The parade will officially take off from the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 19 Union Hall at 10 a.m. following a pre-parade kickoff rally and will culminate with a family celebration at Penn’s Landing Great Plaza.

All are invited to the family celebration beginning at 11 a.m. for an afternoon filled with fun festivities, food, and live music on the main stage, including special guest UGO. Family-friendly activities will include face painting, magicians, make & take crafts, Euro-bungy, a boot camp obstacle course, a moon bounce, human whack-a-mole, an amazing maze, a dance dome, and meltdown. There will also be COVID-19 vaccinations, testing, and flu shots available at the family pavilion.
