Person rescued from 30th Street Station tracks Monday morning

NBC10 reports police and firefighters acted swiftly to get the person to safety

Police and firefighters sprung into action to rescue a person who fell onto the tracks at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station early Monday morning, NBC10 reports.

According to NBC10, the incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Monday. There is no word at this time regarding what caused the unidentified person to fall or his or her current medical condition. 

Emergency personnel reportedly were able to get the person off the tracks and transferred to Hahnemann Hospital.

No train delays have been reported.
