A woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a car near Temple's main campus Friday morning, CBSPhilly reports.
According to police, the woman was waiting for a bus around 2:30 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle that hopped the curb near Broad and Norris streets.
The driver fled the scene but was stopped by police a short time later.
The victim sustained multiple leg fractures. She was taken to a nearby hospital.
The driver and victim have yet to be identified.
The cause of the incident remains unknown.
