Authorities say a pedestrian was fatally struck along a South Jersey road Tuesday morning, NBC10 reports.
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 130 near Cooper Street in Burlington County.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
CBSPhilly reports that the striking vehicle remained at the scene and that Route 130 southbound was closed at Woodlane Road.
The victim was not immediately identified.
The incident remains under investigation.
