Four people, including a child and a PECO worker, were injured in a shooting in North Philadelphia on Wednesday night, police said.
The shooting took place near Sixth and York Streets around 10:30 p.m., according to multiple news reports. The PECO utility worker was struck in the buttocks while trying to fix a cross arm on a power line utility poll.

At least three of the shooting victims were taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment. Their injuries were non-life-threatening, authorities said.
Police had not identified a suspect nor a motive as of Thursday morning.
After hitting an all-time high during the COVID-19 pandemic, violent crime in Philadelphia has been declining year-over-year, according to police department statistics. Through Sept. 10, violent crime offenses were down 7.2%. Shootings were down 22.5%. Homicides were down 25.4%.
