For the Philadelphia Phillies, who currently hold the worst record in baseball by a mile, only one player made the squad.
Closer Jonathan Papelbon was chosen for the National League roster by fellow players for the All-Star game on July 14 at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Papelbon has had another impressive season for the Phillies, saving 14 of the team's few wins so far without blowing any opportunities. He's maintained a 1.65 ERA and became the franchise's all-time saves leader in May.
While not many Philadelphia players can make a case that they were snubbed from this year's team, Cole Hamels is one notable omission.
Hamels has only 5 wins this season, but that number can be blamed partly because of his team's lack of run support. He has the fourth-highest WAR (3.5) and strikeout total (119) among NL starters so far this year, with an ERA just above 3.00.
