The Woodside Park Dentzel Carousel at Please Touch Museum.
Parents of Paddington Bear and Curious George fans will want to book a trip to fantasyland with the Please Touch Museum's 2015 Storybook Ball. The museum will transform into a fairy tale-inspired land fit for the ball's "Once Upon a Time" theme on April 25.
Famous characters like Paddington and George will attend, as will Wild Thing from Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are," Ryan Lion and Baby Mouse. Baby Love Disco will provide the tunes for a kid-friendly dance party and Brulee Catering will provide food to fuel the fun.
Carnival games, book nooks, a special photo booth area, book-themed crafts and appearances by children's book authors round out the night's activities. Both adults and children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook characters, too! Proceeds from the evening benefit the Please Touch Museum's literacy programming.
