Pennsylvania AG: 22 suspected child predators arrested in ongoing sweep

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane provided an update to an ongoing investigation of suspected child predators.

A two week sweep of suspected child predators in southeastern Pennsylvania netted 22 suspects who have been placed under arrest by the state Attorney General's Child Predator Section. 


According to 6 ABC, the sweep was part of an ongoing investigation into the exchange of child pornography and online advertisements relating to the sexual exploitation of minors. 

Arrests were made in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware counties. 
"This means to a lot of people in the area, 'You have child predators living among you, and these people are a danger to children - whether they are depicted in video or living in the neighborhood," said Attorney General Kathleen Kane.

Police have so far released the names of 15 suspects: 

Casey James Boone, 28, Montgomery County

Leonard A. Brown, 30, Philadelphia

Matthew J. Cullen, 33, Bucks County

Kyle Davis, 27, Philadelphia

Ryan Garner, 35, Egg Harbor Township, N.J. 

Robert Charles Goodyear, 69, Bucks County

Tyrone Jones, 45, Philadelphia

Michael K. Kelly, 42, Montgomery County

Jason Logan, 28, Philadelphia

Moises Alexis Perez-Gonzalez, 30, Montgomery County

Jaaron Neftali Rinfret, 20, Montgomery County

Allan Christopher Smith, 47, Bucks County

Chall Senh Su, 28, Philadelphia

Andrew John Tafel, 29, Montgomery County

A list of charges against each of the suspects was provided in a press release from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. 

In addition to the Child Predator Section, AG Kathleen Kane credited the F.B.I, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Philadelphia Special Victims Unit, and the police departments of Bensalem, Lansdale, Lower Merion Township, Tinicum Township, and West Norriton. 

Kane also indicated that there could be more arrests to come.
