In another sign that the riverfront area near the Ben Franklin Bridge is going to get increasingly busy, developer PMC Property Group announced plans to add retail on the ground floor of the One Water Street residential project.
"The sense is that there is considerable activity there, and we are going to try to accommodate some retail," PMC executive vice president Jonathan Stavin told the Inquirer.
When construction is finished in spring 2016, the One Water Street high-rise will have 250 residential units at 230 N. Columbus Boulevard.

It will not be the only high-rise in that section of Old City. PMC is also developing a 10-story apartment complex at 218 Arch Street and Brown Hill Development recently broke ground on a 17-story building called Bridge.
