One person is dead following a Monday morning apartment fire in the Elkins Park section of Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.
The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. Monday at Lynnewood Gardens Apartments on North John Russell Circle and Wagner Way, CBS Philly reported.
Officials confirmed one person was killed in the fire that damaged two units. Two others were able to escape the blaze.
The fire was reportedly out at about 5:30 a.m.
The victim has yet to be identified, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
