One day after collapsing, Michal Neuvirth released from hospital

Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth got the win on Saturday night against the New Jersey Devils, but it certainly didn't come the way that he imagined.

The Orange and Black had a major scare when Neuvirth collapsed on the ice and had to be taken off on a stretcher during the first period. Anthony Stolarz was able to come in cold off the bench to shut out the Devils 3-0, but after the game, everyone's mind was still on Neuvirth, who was "awake and alert" and taken to Pennsylvania Hospital.

According to the Flyers, Neuvirth has been released from the hospital and is now back home.

According to CSN's Tim Panaccio, Flyers general manager said Neuvirth had a bad chest cold this week. Regardless of what the exact cause was, it's a good sign to see that Neuvirth is now doing better.
