Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in the crash of a small airplane in Camden County, officials said.
The small-engine Ercoupe 415-C plane went down in a residential area along the 500 block Linden Avenue before crashing in a backyard, said Camden County spokesman Dan Keashen. It was believed to have departed from Cross Keys Airport in nearby Berlin.

The aircraft remains at the scene of the crash for analysis by the National Transportation Safety Board and Camden County public safety and hazmat officials. The Federal Aviation Administration was also notified of the crash.
