Two people were injured in an overnight house fire in Bucks County, CBSPhilly reports.
Warminster police were on routine patrol shortly after midnight Friday when they spotted a fire at a home on Newtown Road.
Warminster Fire Chief Mitch Shapiro said an adult male was found unresponsive on the front porch. An officer started CPR until the squad could transport the victim to the hospital, Shapiro said.
The blaze, which damaged the living room and kitchen area of the one-story home, was placed under control in about 45 minutes.
One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion. A kitten was treated for minor burns.
Shapiro told CBSPhilly there may have been a hoarding type of situation going on inside the home.
The fire is under investigation.
