OCF Coffee House coming to Old City this fall

OCF Coffee House in Fairmount offers Square One coffee, a full lunch menu and a spacious interior. It's one of several OCF Coffee House locations in the city.

Ori Feibush might be out of politics, but he's sure not out of the coffee business.

According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, a new OCF Coffee House will take the place of a vacant AT&T store at Third and Market streets, filling up 1,000 square feet of space and hosting 20 seats. Feibush told the Business Journal that OCF Realty -- his parent company of the coffeehouses -- will take over the spot in October, just in time for a grand opening in December.

Other coffee shops in Old City include Menagerie, Old City Coffee, La Colombe and Cafe Ole. (And Starbucks, of course.)

OCF Coffee House, which serves Square One coffee in addition to snacks and smoothies, will also open a new location next month in Queen Village. The two new shops are in addition to existing locations in Point Breeze, Rittenhouse, University City and Fairmount, which was the shop's original location.

Feibush, who lost a bid for City Council earlier this year, told PhillyVoice that the expansion of the coffeehouses is part of a "continued effort to give back and invest in many parts of the city." No word from Feibush on which neighborhood(s) might come next.
