The National Weather Service confirmed Wednesday that a tornado touched down near Honey Brook in Chester County during Tuesday's storm.
With winds up to 95 m.p.h., the tornado hit at 2:11 p.m. With its wind speeds, the tornado was classified as an EF1, the second-lowest intensity on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
The National Weather Service is now working on reviewing the damage, as well as the starting and ending locations of the tornado.
In a video posted Wednesday by Youtube user David Tshudy, the tornado can be seen forming between Honey Brook and Elverson.
Tuesday's storm was the second occurrence of severe weather in the region over the past week. The most recent storm hit the Lehigh Valley and Northern Philadelphia suburbs the hardest, knocking out power for thousands and causing a state of emergency in Whitehall Township.
