The Villanova piccolo player who became a viral sensation after the Wildcat's early exit from the tournament got to live a Philadelphia musician's dream last night: Play with The Roots.
Roxanne Chalifoux, who was seen on national television (understandably) crying after the loss, has taken the 15 minutes of fame in stride, and that 15 minutes extended in to Monday night when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where she jammed with Questlove, got interviewed by Fallon, and even received a gift basket with a surprise from Taylor Swift:
Chalifoux not only has shown a great sense of humor about the whole thing, but also possesses a thick skin on twitter, as Kyle Scott of Crossing Broad first pointed out (DISCLAIMER: NSFW Language):
@roxiechalifoxie Villanova, epic choke. You guys sucked worse this year than you did last year. Big East is a fucking joke.

@roxiechalifoxie Wolves whip up on Cats, and you guys missed more lay-ups and easy shots than any team I've ever seen. How'd you get a #1?

@AnnieStone90 I wish your team the best through the tournament

It looks like Chalifoux has a little Mo'ne Davis in her.
