Losing is hard, especially for players and coaches. Apparently, sometimes it's just as difficult for the band too.
After Villanova's shocking loss to North Carolina State in the NCAA Tournament, a lot of people noticed that one poor piccolo player in 'Nova's band took it particularly hard:
It didn't take long for her to become immortalized on the internet, as hundreds of memes, photoshops, and vines of the girl crying shortly followed as #flutegirl and #piccologirl (many twitter users pointed out she technically plays the piccolo) started trending. Here are the best ones.

On Monday, the piccolo player in question, named Roxanne, appeared on the 94WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi to discuss her sudden fame. Apparently, she's a good sport about it:
“I can’t even explain it. I think it’s like such a silly video and then that everyone just thinks it’s hysterical. People made it memes, people put Joe Biden with me. Oh my gosh, how can you miss it? I’ve just been taking it in good spirits. It doesn’t bother me, I think it’s funny.”
She even put on a little performance for the show:
