Once Worn/Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Spree
Northern Liberties offers a range of shopping opportunities with various local businesses.
The Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Spree will take place from Saturday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 6. The annual event began in 2006 as a way to encourage neighbors to support their local businesses during the holiday season. The goal of the event is for customers to get three tickets on their "spree card."
At this annual progressive sale customers receive 10 percent off their purchase at the first store they buy from and receive their spree card with a sticker, then receive 15 percent off at the second store they make a purchase and another sticker, finally at the third store they buy from customers will receive 20 percent off their purchase and a final sticker.
Once a customer has gotten all three stickers then they receive 25 percent off each additional purchase for the rest of the event. Various light refreshments and other holiday fares can be found at each shop, as well. Art Star, one of the founders of the event, is offering complimentary holiday gift wrapping.
