A North Philadelphia man is accused of having and distributing child pornography.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office announced Friday the charges against David Garriga, 26, of 3209 Rorer St.
According to prosecutors, investigating agents identified a computer making sexually graphic images of children available on a file-sharing network.
After tracing the IP address to Garriga's residence, authorities executed a search warrant and found suspected child pornography on Garriga's phone, prosecutors said.
Garriga has been charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.
He was released from custody after posting bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 9.
