A Norristown man faces charges in connection to an alleged stabbing death, Montgomery County officials announced Tuesday.
Luis Daniel Martinez-Perez, 22, was charged with first- and second-degree murder, robbery and related offenses in the death of 43-year-old Christopher Thomas.
The incident occurred just after midnight on April 19 on the 600 block of Jamison Alley.
Authorities say the victim was found lying in an alley, suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
A judge denied bail on Friday and Martinez-Perez was sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
His next scheduled court appearance is a preliminary hearing on May 5.
