A school crossing guard who also serves as a member of the Magnolia School District Board of Education was charged Thursday for possession and distribution of child pornography, according to Camden County Prosecutors.
Rudolph F. Kube, 80, was arrested after an investigation by the High Tech Crimes Unit, which executed a search warrant at his Magnolia home at approximately 6:00 a.m. Thursday, according to a statement. The Gloucester Township Police Department SWAT team assisted in executing the warrant.
Detectives recovered multiple hard drives containing images and videos of child pornography.
The investigation was launched after detectives began monitoring a peer-to-peer file-sharing and were able to link downloads of child pornography to an IP address at Kube's home.
Kube, a crossing guard for Magnolia Middle School, faces one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
His bail was set at $100,000 full cash.
