An 11-year-old had his dreams come true this past week with a little help from The Weather Channel and Make-A-Wish America.
Ryland Mishura, of Mullica Hill, appeared to present viewers the weather forecast on Wednesday and gave the professionals a run for their money.
Meteorologist Maria LaRosa introduced Mishura, who has a rare genetic disorder called isovaleric acidemia, as her "very special guest" in their Atlanta studio before he launched into his three-minute debut.
Mishura touched on weather in his hometown, giving predictions for the Philadelphia region as well.
"I'm almost afraid for you to come over here," joked meteorologist Alex Wallace, who Mishura joined to give a national forecast. "You did such a great job, seems like you're going to take my job."
