New Jersey Assemblyman Dave Rible, R-Monmouth, is requesting an
investigation into reports that Pearson, the international company that oversees the
controversial PARCC standardized tests, is monitoring the social media accounts of students taking the exams.
Rible’s request, reported by the Courier Post, follows recent allegations that Pearson is monitoring students' social media accounts for indications of cheating. Many parents and educators are concerned.
