Nine people are still hospitalized at Temple University Hospital, where they are being treated for injuries sustained from the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia, CBS Philly reports.
TUH served as the trauma center for many of the passengers treated immediately after the crash.
Five of those patients are in critical condition. Of all the patients receiving treatment from the crash at a number of area hospitals, a total of eight patients remain in critical condition as of Friday night, Philly.com reports.
As of Friday night, several other area hospitals were still treating patients as well, including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Einstein Medical Center.
