'Nightscape' to open for second season at Longwood Gardens

Another chance to view the sound and light display

Colorful lights and surreal visual projections illuminate nine site-specific installations at Longwood Gardens' Nightscape exhibit. Visitors stroll through illuminated pathways surrounded by light, sound, imagery and music that’s sure to entertain the likes of horticulturalists, gardeners and fans of 1960’s and 70’s psychedelia.

Longwood Gardens will bring back "Nightscape" this summer, for the second year. The opening date is Aug. 3 but evening visitors to the gardens will be able to view the sound and light display through the end of October.

Moving imagery and light, set to original music, is projected onto the landscape, plants and flowers throughout the 1,077 acres in Kennett Square. View last year's surreal visuals at Longwood Gardens here.
